Army Composition
For this tournament you will need one 500 point army. This may be selected from any of the following Sourcebooks: Kingdoms of Men, The Free Peoples, The Fallen Realms, Moria and Angmar, Mordor, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
Army Restrictions
Besides those listed in the sourcebooks there will not be imposing any restrictions on your choice of models/characters. Each player will be required to keep CLEAR WRITTEN record of their Might, Will, Fate totals and Courage, readily available for an opponent or tournament organiser to scrutinise.
Models must be WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) especially in terms of race, hand weapons, shields, armour type, upgrades and type of mount (armoured/unarmoured/horned etc).
We are happy for players use suitable conversions (e.g. different colour schemes for captains to identify them from normal warriors, putting captains on rocks, alternate positions and alternate hand weapons, homemade banner bearers, homemade cavalry models, suitable alternative models from other similar sized model ranges e.g. mithril, reaper etc.). We ask that you email a picture and description of any conversions or alternative models you are planning to use to the above email address before 18.00 Wednesday 18th June 2014 for confirmation of use. Make sure to tell your opponent about any converted/alternative models before the game.
The tournament organisers have the power to remove illegal models from your army and you won’t be allowed to substitute the points for that model. If a hero leading a war band is removed then the whole war band is removed. If the hero was your leader then another hero in your army will be chosen to be your army’s leader by the tournament organiser.
Army List checking will happen between 09.00 to 10.00 hours on Saturday 21st. Round 1 won’t start until ALL the army lists have been checked. Therefore if you want to email or message your army before 20.00 hours on Friday you can do so for the convenience of other players.
